Programs Overview

At Seedlings, our part-time and full-time programs accommodate children between 2 months to 12 years old. Located in Thornhill, we provide quality childcare for the surrounding communities of Markham, Vaughan and Richmond Hill. Infants

Our infant program welcomes children 2 months to 18 months. We provide a warm, nurturing and safe environment giving you peace of mind that all of your child’s needs are met. Our staff spends lots of quality time with the children and we provide a daily report on how your child’s day was. Learn more.

Toddlers

For children 18 months to 2.5 years old, our toddler program provides children the opportunity to explore and learn in a safe and stimulating environment. A hot lunch and two snacks are provided each day along with time for daily sleep/rest. Learn more about our program and curriculum.

Preschool

Our preschool program for children 2.5 years old to 4 years old sets the foundation for your little seedlings to grow strong roots in many areas of development. Our learning curriculum is tailored to this age group and encourages both individual and group development activities. A hot lunch and two snacks are offered each day and preschoolers also have the opportunity for two outdoor play periods. Learn more about our preschool program.

Kindergarten

Our kindergarten program for children 4 years old to 6 years old offers an enhanced curriculum which ensures they have the child care activities they need to support free choice/self-guided discovery as well an academic program that includes learning, language and literacy and French, computer skills and music class. We provide parents/caregivers with report cards twice a year and conduct parent-teacher interviews. Learn more about our part-time and full-time kindergarten programs.

Before & After School / School Age / Camps

We offer before & after school care for your little seedlings as well as a school age program that includes school bus pick up and drop off. And our summer camp programs are offered full time on PA Days, holiday season, March break and during summer months (July and August). Learn more.

Enhanced Programs

At Seedlings, we provide the children the opportunity to take part in a variety of extra-curricular activities, all arranged by us. Partnering with local dance academies, community centres and other reputable organizations, your child can take part in swimming, dancing, yoga, karate and more on a rotational basis.
