There are already a number of enhanced programs that we have integrated into our curriculum and included in your current fees. These programs include: our music class, our kindergarten French program and computer skills using the computers each of our classrooms are equipped with.
We know how busy your days can get. After you’ve picked up your child and taken him or her to a swimming or music lesson, then made dinner and cleaned up, there’s little time left to spend together. As part of Seedlings program enhancement goals we work together with local organizations to build partnerships in order to offer optional interest programs for your child.
Seedlings will provide your child with the opportunity to take part in a variety of extra-curricular activities that you can choose from, all arranged by us. Through local partnerships with dance academies, community centres and other reputable organizations, your child may have the opportunity to take part in swimming, dancing, yoga, karate, etc. Programs are offered on a rotating basis, so children can explore and see what they like. When they’re done, you pick them up from the centre, go home, and enjoy some quality family time.
Seedlings is currently partnering with Monkeynastix Canada and Pic Fit Karate & Yoga Studio to offer children interest lessons as part of our enhanced, extra-curricular program offering. Our plan is to offer other optional extra-curricular programs on a rotational basis – providing children with opportunities to try new activities throughout the year.
Our goal is to source new extra-curricular activities on a rotational basis in order to provide a range of activities for you to choose from as well as to, hopefully, provide you with some extra family time by reducing the need for your child to take part in extracurricular activities during evenings and weekends.
When enhanced programs are initiated, you can sign your child up for them by completing sign- up forms which will be distributed to all parents of applicable aged children or by stopping by the office to speak with Jillian Ferney, our Centre Director. You can also reach her by calling 905-889-8898.
We provide our families with information on new program offerings as they become available.
